YOU’RE INVITED: Indiana History Living Wax Museum at Allen Elementary

MARION — Indiana history will come to life in the annual Allen Elementary Living Wax Museum, and these young scholars want to share what they’ve learned with you!
The Living Wax Museum will be open from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the school’s gym. Family and friends and any other community members interested are invited to attend. Like a museum, the event is come and go at your own speed and convenience, within the open times.
With guidance from their teachers, Allen fourth-graders have spent months researching famous Hoosiers as part of their Indiana history lessons, and then practicing to get into character in preparation for the Living Wax Museum.
Students have created displays and costumes, and will be stationed throughout the gym, ready to speak with visitors. These students are proud of what they’ve learned and they’d love to share it with you!
