Nurse Practitioner Joins Family LifeCare

(Berne, Indiana) – Family LifeCare is pleased to announce the addition of Julie Towery, Nurse Practitioner, to our team of providers. She joined our team in May. Julie will assist Dr. Edmond Bendaly, Chief Medical Officer, and Deb Fiechter, Nurse Practitioner, with the continued growth of our diverse organization. Both Nurse Practitioners work closely with Dr. Bendaly in providing clinical care to our palliative care, transitional care and hospice programs.
Julie is a native of Marion, Indiana and brings 30 years of experience. She earned a Master of Science degree with a focus in Community Health Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She then earned a post Master’s Degree Certificate as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She has also been a Nurse Educator for the continuation of the future of the science of nursing. She has an extensive amount of experience in patient care. She also completed education at Ohio State University in advanced pharmacology.
Julie and her husband Mark reside in Van Buren, Indiana. They have two sons Clark, 26 and Clayton, 18. Cassie is Julie’s sweet Bichon Frise. Julie loves to sing in her church choir and enjoys gardening in her spare time.
