First Farmers Bank & Trust Supports Mental Health Awareness at Annual Radiant Health Event

CONVERSE, Ind. (June 2, 2025) — First Farmers Bank & Trust proudly participated in the second annual Radiant Health Mental Health Matters event held at the Gardens of Matter Park in Marion, Indiana. The event, funded by a United Way grant, is free to all Grant County residents and drew more than 200 attendees this year.
Staff from the bank’s Marion and Converse branches joined community members in a day focused on raising mental health awareness and promoting well-being through interactive and engaging activities. First Farmers hosted a booth where children of all ages could make their own “stress balls” using balloons, rice, and funnels—a popular attraction that encouraged creativity and conversations about coping strategies.
“It’s important to us at First Farmers to support mental health initiatives and create fun, approachable ways for families to talk about emotional wellness,” said Sandy Beouy, AVP North Regional Branch Manager.
In addition to the stress ball station, eventgoers enjoyed rock painting, jewelry making, cooking demonstrations, dancing, obstacle courses, and even goat yoga. The day provided a wide range of opportunities for attendees to explore stress relief techniques and connect with local resources.
