Family Fun: Arbor Day at Minnetrista April 26

Celebrate the roots of sustainability at the 2025 Muncie Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens. This free, family-friendly event honors Muncie’s 27th year as a Tree City USA, bringing the community together to explore nature, plant for the future, and take home a tree of their own. At 10:30 a.m., Mayor Dan Ridenour will present the official Arbor Day proclamation, celebrating our city’s ongoing commitment to urban forestry and environmental stewardship.

🌳 Arbor Day—Featuring a sapling giveaway, tree care demonstrations, creative family crafts, expert planting advice, and a free raffle with trees, tools, and more.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga is for EveryBody—Stay after Arbor Day and enjoy a free, all-levels Vinyasa flow celebrating unity, mindfulness, and movement at 3 p.m.
