Community School of the Arts Announces Holiday Production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol

MARION, IN — The Community School of the Arts (CSA) proudly announces its upcoming holiday production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, a captivating and imaginative re-telling of a beloved classic. Directed by Ryan Akers, this production will be performed at the James Dean Memorial Theater at the CSA Civic Theatre building over two weekends: December 5–7 and December 12–14, 2025.

Written by Tom Mula, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol invites audiences to experience the world of Charles Dickens’ iconic story from a bold new perspective. The play follows Jacob Marley—Scrooge’s former business partner—as he embarks on an unexpected journey of redemption. Filled with humor, depth, and emotional insight, Marley’s quest to save Ebenezer Scrooge reveals powerful themes of forgiveness, transformation, and the enduring spirit of the holiday season.

“This production offers a fresh, heartwarming, and imaginative look at a story audiences already know and love,” said CSA Executive Director Shelly Inskeep. “It’s a moving reminder that no soul is beyond hope and that the holidays are a time for self-reflection, compassion, and joy.”

CSA invites the entire community to join in celebrating the magic of live theatre during the most festive time of the year. Tickets are available now at www.csa-marion.com/tickets or may be purchased in person at CSA, 305 S. Adams Street, Marion, Monday through Thursday from 10am–6pm.
