Marion Regional Career Center is pleased to report its highest enrollment since 2014. MRCC is currently serving 334 students from seven schools in the surrounding area. The students are spread throughout 20-plus program areas in career and technical education.

MRCC Student and Community Specialist Nate McNeely attributed the growth to MRCC’s commitment to its students.

“We are committed to continually enhancing the student experience through the development of skills and partnerships in high-demand career areas,” McNeely said.

MRCC has added multiple programs since the move from the Tucker building to Marion High School (starting in the 2016-17 school year).

“I believe a major reason for the growth in our classes is our teachers,” MRCC Director Mike Ripperger added. “Our teachers are consistently going above and beyond to make sure they are providing the best possible learning environment for all students, and several of them are doing so while still working in their field.”

Anyone interested in taking MRCC classes should contact their high school counselor or McNeely for more information at (765) 664-9091.
