Marion High School Key Club seeks donations for Caring Closet

The Marion High School Key Club is starting a Caring Closet to help students who find themselves in need. Many of us take the basics for granted, but going without them is a reality for too many. The Key Club wants to help fill those gaps!
The service-focused student organization aims to have the Caring Closet open by Nov. 5, and will accept donations throughout the school year to keep it running. Donations will be accepted during school / office hours. Marion High School students and staff can drop donations off with Ms. Vermilion, Key Club sponsor, in Room 2-46. Anyone outside the school who would like to help, including MCS staffers, families, and community members, can drop donations off at the District Office at MHS, inside Door 22 to the west of the main entrance.
Requested donations include personal care items and shelf-stable foods. A list of specific suggested items is available at http://bit.ly/MHS_CaringCloset.
Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership. It’s core values also include caring and inclusiveness. At Marion High School, the Key Club takes on projects each year to make a positive impact on their school and their community.
