Marion General Hospital Police Officer Earns Professional Certification
Officer John (Kit) Hunter, CHEP, MGH Protective Services, has met the educational, experience, and examination requirements to be designated as a Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers.
Mr. Hunter also holds a technical certificate in broadcasting from Bates Technical College. He is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and has been employed at MGH for 5 years.
John is married to wife Kitrina and has two sons, Chance and Tyler. He enjoys photography in his spare time.
He enjoys working at MGH because of “the challenges working in a healthcare setting, helping out staff, patients and the community,” he said.
