USA Basketball Open Court provides children a safe and fun environment in which to play basketball. Children choose how to engage in the sport through free play, skill games, five-on-five, 3x3, and station options. Sessions are free to the community and are open to children of all ability levels.

USA Basketball Open Court at Marion High School will operate on most Sundays from April 8 through Aug. 19, with separate times for different age groups. Here's the full schedule:

As one of USA Basketball's youth development initiatives, Open Court connects children to local facilities, and the free-play setting allows children the opportunity to enjoy basketball in a safe environment while earning prizes for participation. Each open court program is supervised by USA Basketball-licensed coaches.

NOTE: All participants must submit a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before participating in their first session. Waivers are available at the program location.

Open court participants earn points by attending sessions. Also, bonus points may be earned when a player brings a friend, has perfect attendance or makes a social post about their experience. At the end of the 12 sessions, participants can trade in points earned for custom USA Basketball Youth Development and Nike gear.
